Shoes are ordered from catalogues and representatives of various footwear manufacturers and importers. Shoes is ordered six months in advance to cater for the upcoming season. This function is taken care of by the owner. The day to day operations is taken care of by the two permanent staff members. Owner visit the store twice a month.

The two staff members (1 manager and 1 assistant) opens the shop in the mornings. They assist customers, make sales and take care of all other required activities, including banking of monies received. They keep the store neat and orderly.
They report back to the owner.

Competition is fierce and comes from both local and international sources. Various other shops selling different shoes for different consumer markets.
